This post is uncalled for

Today I took the local train to work to read more.

I took a long lunch break to go to the bookstore.

Tonight I ate dinner and kissed my wife, and talked to her about her comedy set.  Afterward we walked across the park at dusk and wrote at the coffee shop.

I just finished reading Poetry.

Now I'm going to have some tea and go to bed.

  1. Sounds like a pretty good day to me. Taking some time for yourself and some time to reflect on it; nothin' wrong with that ;)

  2. Sounds like a day in New York. Wanna come visit, Kansas? I will allow you to read in my "perfect" setting in my basement and sip tea all day long.
Or you could sit on my back porch in this 70/80 degree weather and watch the golfers go by as you slightly look up from reading, only to see their bad shot has just landed in our yard. A minor distraction. Actually a perfect distraction.

  4. And what of inspiration, has she lost her way or does she stay...near to you and your few closest friends and cherished muse?
